RoRo Meets Adam!

March 6th, 2012, was one of the most exciting days of my life!  I won passes to see Adam at a radio promo at Mix 96.5 FM Houston, TX!!!  Words cannot adequately express my great and extreme joy at winning the passes! Listeners to the radio station heard a crazy woman screaming bloody murder and barely able to communicate name and information!
So it was with great joy that Hubs and I and Glam friend Audrey, who did not have a pass, drove down to Houston to the radio studio and joined a group of Glamberts, mostly local, who had also won passes and were jigging in excitement.  We joined a DJ in a private concert room for some chatter and build up (like anyone could get any more excited without causing a scene) and soon, in walked the man of our dreams, ADAM F. LAMBERT!!!.  All I can say is, the word CUTE was all my brain could manifest!  I had that "Flail" feeling from start to finish! Poor hubs was practically ignored in my fascination, but he was a good sport about it and enjoyed himself immensely, being able to see a star like that so up close and personal and attend such a private and personal performance.
Afterwards, when the Meet and Greet part came, we waited in line for our turn to get a personal moment with Adam.  When our turn came at last, I was rendered speechless and could only gaze at Adam with intense love. Taking one look at the expression on my face (he read me like a book) he said simply, "Awww"... and held out his arm offering me a hug.  I ran to him!  All I could say was "I LOVE YOU"!!! Peter got to shake his hand then it was turn and pose for the camera and our turn was over.  Turning, I told Adam, "Good luck in all your endeavors!", knowing that he was going to conquer the world and is only just starting!  Adam remarked about the sensibility of the green tea I was drinking, and I had an impression that he must surely be hungry all the time now, as he watches his weight so carefully. I was strongly tempted to ask him if he was hungry, and realized that my maternal instinct had kicked in.
My friend Audrey, who had arrived without a pass to see the concert, got lucky and someone who had come without a guest offered to let her come in with her!  Perfect!  She had worn a necklace consisting of a rock of "rainbow carborundum", or a form of pyrite, which has iridescent crystals in rainbow colors and Adam really liked it.  He reached down and picked it up boldly off her chest and remarked about it.  Audrey plans to send him one! But when he touched hers, she felt that his 'vibe' was embedded in it and it became very special to her.  Same as my tea can, though Adam didn't touch it, his gaze fell on it, so I am keeping it always.
It was a long awaited and anticipated event!  It coincided with my daughter's birthday! Told her I was going to see Adam on her birthday!  Had to make up for it later!  Hopefully, I did!
