What a wonderful trip with friends to see the concert in Dallas, the day after the Houston concert. We stayed at a hotel near I-20/Belt Line Rd, and drove to a park and ride, where we took the light rail train to the American Airlines Center. We had arrived early, anticipating long lines like there were in Houston, but found none! We went into a convenient bar to get out of the near 100 F heat and drinks, where we passed a pleasant 30 minutes or so before going on over to the Center to claim our seats. Two of us were seated in the lower pavilion near the side of the first part of the catwalk, and the other two had floor seats. It was an incredible show, and we enjoyed it so much even though we had just seen the same show in Houston!
If you haven't seen Queen + Adam Lambert live in concert then you need to go! Not to be missed! There is a reason why some people commented after the show (overheard) that it was the best concert they had ever been to with or without Freddie.

RoRo Meets Adam!
March 6th, 2012, was one of the most exciting days of my life! I won passes to see Adam at a radio promo at Mix 96.5 FM Houston, TX!!! Words cannot adequately express my great and extreme joy at winning the passes! Listeners to the radio station heard a crazy woman screaming bloody murder and barely able to communicate name and information!
So it was with great joy that Hubs and I and Glam friend Audrey, who did not have a pass, drove down to Houston to the radio studio and joined a group of Glamberts, mostly local, who had also won passes and were jigging in excitement. We joined a DJ in a private concert room for some chatter and build up (like anyone could get any more excited without causing a scene) and soon, in walked the man of our dreams, ADAM F. LAMBERT!!!. All I can say is, the word CUTE was all my brain could manifest! I had that "Flail" feeling from start to finish! Poor hubs was practically ignored in my fascination, but he was a good sport about it and enjoyed himself immensely, being able to see a star like that so up close and personal and attend such a private and personal performance.
Afterwards, when the Meet and Greet part came, we waited in line for our turn to get a personal moment with Adam. When our turn came at last, I was rendered speechless and could only gaze at Adam with intense love. Taking one look at the expression on my face (he read me like a book) he said simply, "Awww"... and held out his arm offering me a hug. I ran to him! All I could say was "I LOVE YOU"!!! Peter got to shake his hand then it was turn and pose for the camera and our turn was over. Turning, I told Adam, "Good luck in all your endeavors!", knowing that he was going to conquer the world and is only just starting! Adam remarked about the sensibility of the green tea I was drinking, and I had an impression that he must surely be hungry all the time now, as he watches his weight so carefully. I was strongly tempted to ask him if he was hungry, and realized that my maternal instinct had kicked in.
My friend Audrey, who had arrived without a pass to see the concert, got lucky and someone who had come without a guest offered to let her come in with her! Perfect! She had worn a necklace consisting of a rock of "rainbow carborundum", or a form of pyrite, which has iridescent crystals in rainbow colors and Adam really liked it. He reached down and picked it up boldly off her chest and remarked about it. Audrey plans to send him one! But when he touched hers, she felt that his 'vibe' was embedded in it and it became very special to her. Same as my tea can, though Adam didn't touch it, his gaze fell on it, so I am keeping it always.
It was a long awaited and anticipated event! It coincided with my daughter's birthday! Told her I was going to see Adam on her birthday! Had to make up for it later! Hopefully, I did!

WARNING: Don't look into his eyes!
Adam's beauty has been captured by camera, pen, and paint and his eyes are reknown amongst Glamberts. First, he woos us with his siren's voice - luring us away to another world. Then, out of curiosity, we look to see who is making this marvelous sound! Our eyes rest on his pleasant features and trim, masculine physique, and we begin to notice more detail about him: like how full his lips are. How expressive is his brow. How his gaze pierces - and that most adorable tip on the end of his nose, just like an elf's! The thick, black, shiny hair...Slowly, we are lured to his eyes, the expression there warm and sensuous, eyes large, reflecting the sky, perfect in design. But don't gaze directly into his eyes! You'll be hopelessly lost! Lost, to his beauty and allure - a sensuality that hypnotizes with possibilities. Our souls become corrupted by "what could be - what should be - and what we want it to be". He becomes increasingly irrestible, our hands quiver to touch him - to detect the power within; our arms ache to hold him and our lips long to meet his; our fingers seek to caress...
No wonder Adam captured a Viking! Someone should have warned Sauli Koskinen. He shouldn't have laughed in the face of danger when he first met Adam. However, I don't think Sauli was afraid at all! I think he may have been looking for some danger to conquer. And I don't think he minded yielding his heart!

@RRRoro's blog about Grammy-nominated, International Pop Star Adam Lambert
This blog is all about Adam Lambert and nothing (okay, little) else. Maybe also some comments about tolerance and acceptance and equal rights, which I think most Glamberts are for.
Hi peeps and welcome! I thought I was just signing in so I could post on someone else's blog and now I've got my own - was that supposed to happen? I am clueless! But I love a challenge so...I'm going for it!
I just want to talk about Adam and what he's doing, where he's at, who he's with, how good he looks, what I like about his music, etc. Warning: I have an 'R' and 'X' rated sense of humor...
Sure not saying I know everything about Adam - I'm in no position to have first hand knowledge. I do envy those who are much closer to Adam's circle, live in the Hollywood area and attend events that Adam is performing at, etc. I love to read their tweets about Adam while they are looking right at him! God, to experience Adam in the flesh! Well, I did attend two concerts and one of the Idols Live concerts as well. I was not able to get any front row seats and considered myself to be lucky to be as close as I was. Nonetheless, I am a fan to the core and I salute those who are able to do more - get those front row tix, those meet'n greet passes, meet Adam, attend a TV recording of a show he's in, etc. You guys provide validation of Adam's unique awesomeness in all the Universe and I thank you for it! I'm glad someone can be there and support Adam even if I can only be there in spirit!
